What is the Coalition for Affordable Solar Energy? The Coalition for Affordable Solar Energy (CASE) is a 501(c)(4) organization whose purpose is to educate the American public and policymakers about the dangers posed to the U.S. solar energy industry by SolarWorld’s protectionist legal actions. CASE represents the majority of U.S. solar jobs and is made up of a diverse group of companies across the solar value chain, from local installers to project developers and equipment manufacturers.
We all are united in the belief that SolarWorld’s actions will kill jobs in the U.S. economy while raising the price of solar energy. Led by Jigar Shah, CASE President, SunEdison founder, and former CEO of the Carbon War Room, we are dedicated to defending affordable solar energy in America.
Our goal is to inform everyday Americans, Congress, and the Administration about the profoundly destructive impact SolarWorld’s petition will have on our booming industry.
